Cariwest is one of Edmonton's longest running festival and parades. Since it's inception in 1985 it has gone from a small parking lot celebration honoring the various Caribbean traditions, to a three day event which takes over Jasper Ave and Churchill Square. Down south, Carifest is also one of Calgary’s largest festivals.
A $65 registration fee is required to secure your spot in the band and is required for each costume. This fee is applied toward your total costume cost—so it’s not an extra charge.
Registration fees are non-refundable, as they reserve your place and costume selection.
Once you’ve completed the registration form and paid the registration fee, a 50% deposit of your total costume price is due by June 1st to confirm your costume.
Once you have paid the 50% costume deposit, you will be added to the WhatsApp group chat for communication and updates. The remaining balance will be due before or at costume pickup.
